The 3260 is a 12 volt gear motor, generating 6.12 Kg-cm of torque at 73 RPM. While this motor is small and inexpensive, it is also aggressively wound making it less efficient than the others, but very powerful for its size.

This family of motors (325832593260) have the same gearbox type and mounting metrics as the (3254325532563257) family of motors.

Connection

This motor can be controlled by a DC motor controller. You can find a list of suitable controllers on the Connection & Compatibility tab.

 

DC Motor Controllers

DC motors can be simply connected to a power supply according to their rated voltage in order to make them run, but if you want to have control over direction, velocity, and acceleration in real-time, youll need to use a motor controller. In order to connect this motor to a controller, youll need to solder wires to the contacts on the back of the motor and connect those wires to the motor terminal on the controller. Dont worry about wiring the motor backwards; doing so will only reverse the direction of rotation.
